Description

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are more than statements on a syllabus—they represent the real skills and knowledge that we hope students take with them beyond our courses.

In this session, we’ll explore practical ways to assess SLOs in order to ensure our courses and programs are meeting their objectives. Learn strategies that make SLO assessment meaningful rather than just an accreditation checkbox (while also clarifying the accreditation requirements).

As a bonus, we’ll share some simple survey tools to gather timely feedback from students in your courses, including about the SLOs.
