There is an emergency need for blood donations in our community. Cosumnes River College and Vitalant are partnering to bring a bloodmobile to parking lot F at the Bruceville Rd. campus entrance:
- September 23 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm
- September 24 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
Please register in advance by booking an appointment! The blood drive is open to anyone who is eligible to donate including students, employees, and community members. Visit Donors.Vitalant.org and search using blood drive code: SMFL007.
Donors will be entered into Vitalant’s Give the Gift of Time drawing for two donors to win a $10,000 gift card! Donors are also eligible to redeem a Glow in the Dark Halloween Shirt!
For a limited time, every blood donation comes with a free hemoglobin A1C test, which helps inform you of your risk for prediabetes or diabetes. Discover important health information about yourself while helping others.
Prepare for Your Appointment
- Bring a photo ID
- Eat well and drink plenty of water
- Please complete your health questionnaire in advance at the Vitalant website
