Description
This hands-on session will explore vocal techniques and practices taught in actor training programs and used by professional actors and singers whose careers depend on healthy voices. Faculty, counselors, staff, and administrators can combat vocal fatigue and strain by learning about vocal anatomy, proper warm-ups, and vocal production to keep our voices healthy and strong for years to come.
Participants should come ready to take their shoes off and do light movement, stretching, and bending, but modifications will be offered for all exercises. Participants should wear socks and bring water, a yoga mat or towel, and be ready to make some noise!
