Description
Each spring the Equity Academy brings together the recently hired full-time faculty to explore diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racist practices in support of student success. We spend time practicing skills within a safe space as a cohort and discuss how to extend these practices to our colleagues and students.
The semester culminated with presentations on how the participants embody "Equity in Motion," which is what the spring 2025 cohort named themselves. In this session, several participants will reprise their presentations. Join us to be inspired by their examples and imagine how you too can practice Equity in Motion.
