Part 1 - Assessing Instructional Student Learning Outcomes (11:00 to 11:35 am)

• Accreditation (and Title V) require the regular assessment of instructional student learning outcomes (every six years, and more frequently for CTE courses). If you teach a course, you should be involved in the assessment process, whether you actually complete the assessments, or you share your assessment data with colleagues.
• Attend this session to learn how assessments are submitted in the College Integrating Planning System (CIPS) and the variety of ways in which departments can collaborate to get them done. Extra bonus points if you complete assessments during the training!

Part 2 - Writing Resource Requests for the 2026 Capital Outlay Budget (11:40 am to 12:15 pm)

• The new Capital Outlay Budget cycle is upon us! COB requests will be due in early Spring 2026. This session will teach you how to identify resources in Program Review that will qualify for resource requests in the COB process, and how to use data from Program Review or SLO assessments to strengthen the quality of your resource requests.
