CRC Flex Workshop: Overview of Student Health and Wellness Center Services, and How to Support Students with Mental Health Distress

Join us to learn about the free physical and mental health services available to Los Rios students. Our presentation will cover the location of Student Health and Wellness Centers, hours, and how to make referrals and link students to resources.

This event includes How to Support Students with Mental Health Distress, which will equip you with the knowledge and tools to best support students experiencing psychological distress. Students negatively impacted by their mental health may present with behavioral or emotional difficulties. We will explore why mental health concerns are so prevalent, how to identify the symptoms of distress, what to do, what works and how to approach and link students with care.
