Description

Learn about Los Rios's efforts to prevent opioid overdose. The greater Sacramento area continues to experience an increase of opioid overdose deaths each year. Communities where Narcan is widely distributed experience fewer deaths due to opioid overdose.

The training will include:

Free access to opioid overdose prevention kits
Rescue Narcan on campus
Learning about the dangers of fentanyl
Signs of an overdose
How to administer Narcan
Harm reduction strategies
