Description
A FLEX workshop about UDL and accessibility resources, co-sponsored by LRCFT’s Social Justice Caucus and the four college Universal Design for Learning coordinators. The proposed event aims to increase faculty awareness of resources that faculty can optionally use to improve accessibility of course materials. These temporary programs provide free remediation of documents, captioning of videos, and Canvas design support to any faculty who wish to submit their materials. The service is provided by the UDL coordinators and staff on a temporary grant until 2026. This workshop will state which services are offered at each college, and de-mystify the process of accessing the services available to faculty.
